I am interested in being a member, what should I do?If you email us, we will send you more info and arrange for you to have a look round the studio.
-
Will you fire and finish the things I make on the Throwing Taster? The session is more about the experience than creating finished objects, we usually take a close look at how well you have done by slicing through your pots and checking your sections. In some circumstances, we can finish and glaze a pot from the session for you to pick up at a later date. Alternatively, you are welcome to take away any clay pieces you make.
-
Do I get to keep the things I make on the Handbuilding and Sculpting workshops?Yes! We dry, fire and glaze these pieces, ready for you to pick up after a month.

Can you guarantee that my piece will survive the kiln firing?I'm afraid we can't guarantee anything, but 99% of the time they do! The only exception is when a participant deviates from the tuition...if you follow the directions given it will survive, but if you do your own thing it might not.
